About The Position

We are looking for fantastic retail sales associates to provide excellent customer service to our clients. Licensed Cosmetologist, Braider or Barber Preferred. It's a cool gig! Your Schedule: FULL TIME - Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday (OFF WEDS/THURS) Stylist Hiring and Training• Assist in hosting and setting up recruiting events including career fairs and school demos• Gain referrals from other stylists and local salons• Manage candidate pipeline, and schedule interviews and auditions Stylist Training and Hair Quality• Schedule and conduct new hire stylist training• Monitor new hire transition on to the floor• On-going training and coaching; on the floor in the moment, and one-on-one’s (aka- ‘Behind theBar’ ‘Advanced Trainings’ ‘Up-Training’ etc.)• Uphold the standards and procedures stated in the AOB Product Education• Train all bartenders, stylists, and managers on product benefits and usage• Ensure clients receive product education, and that stylists are following the product specific stepsin the AOB• Spearhead product launches• Monitor stylist retail performance and product performance Customer (Internal and External) Experience• Monitor RYB, apply feedback and coaching as necessary• Interact with customers and receive first hand feedback• Share performance related results including product sales and client feedback• Create fun contests and activities that engage, motivate, and inspire staff• Live the Heart and Soul core values, and maintain a company aligned culture within the shop Shop Flow and Floor Support• Expediting services and assisting stylists on the floor by shampooing, finishing with hot tools,coaching in the moment to encourage efficient timing• Leading the experience by example- taking clients• Being present and engaged with stylists, bartenders, and clients on the floor• Identify and address hair quality, timing and experience issues

Requirements

  • Cosmetology or Barbers License
  • A passion for Styling, specifically BLOWOUTS & more formal styles
  • Some knowledge on Drybar Branded products
  • Customer service oriented
  • Results oriented, metrics driven
  • 1+ years of Sales experience preferred
  • 6 months minimum of Leadership Experience (Shiftlead, Key holder, Educator, or Manager)
  • Must be able to lead a team of 10+ stylists daily
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Must be outgoing, positive, cheerful, engaging, energetic, and resourceful
  • Leads by Example
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to both internal personnel and customers
  • Must be an excellent organizer and problem solver with strong project management skills
  • Must be able to work flexible days and hours; including nights, weekends, and holidays
