About The Position

The Dry Warehouse Supervisor - 1st Shift is responsible for overseeing the handling and processing of supplies inventory in the warehouse during their shift. This role includes supervising and assigning tasks to workers, ensuring compliance with safety and food quality standards, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. The supervisor must also assist in training and managing warehouse associates, ensuring that all processes are followed correctly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required; Associates Degree or higher preferred.
  • 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of HACCP experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record over the last 5 years.
  • Ability to use a pallet jack, rider jack, and forklift.
  • Inventory Control experience highly preferable.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Proficiency with RF scanners and SAP is a plus.
  • Strong mathematical, technical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Good teamwork and leadership skills.

  • Prior experience with RF scanners and SAP is a plus.
  • Experience in a demanding work environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and assign tasks to warehouse associates during the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and report incidents to management.
  • Maintain a good safety forklift driving record and follow company safety policies.
  • Complete all warehouse inventory and shipping documents as required.
  • Assist the Warehouse Manager with interviewing and hiring new associates.
  • Train, supervise, coach, and apply disciplinary action to associates as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and legal procedures for receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Supervise the inventory of raw, packaging, and finished goods, including cycle counts and audits.
  • Report any issues with warehouse tools and equipment to maintenance.
  • Maintain a professional attitude with all associates and visitors.
  • Ship outbound orders according to SAP/Delivery documents and ensure food safety programs are followed.
  • Supervise clocking in and out of associates according to company policy.
  • Drive company truck/bobtail as needed and provide a valid driver's license when requested.
  • Oversee the handling of consignments and supervise loading, storage, and unloading processes.
  • Validate received materials against Purchase Orders for accuracy.
  • Monitor warehouse records and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Coordinate with Cold Storage facilities for inbound finished product loads.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to comply with safety guidelines.
