About The Position

The Dry Utilities Engineer will assist with design, inspectin and construction associated with the site utility electric, natural gas, and telecommunication services. The position will work with site civil engineers on major projects within the DC Metro area.

Must have 2-5 years' experience with the following:

Familiar with electric, gas, and telecom design and construction process;
Making application requests for temporary and permanent electric and gas service;
Disconnect of existing to prep for demo and obtain raze letters;
Analyzing existing infrastructure for future capacity planning and reporting;
Coordinating with utility companies, owners, MEP, architects, and other design consultants to obtain all documents necessary for design;
Coordinating with GC, inspectors, and handling reconstruction meetings

Requirements

• Familiar with electric, gas, and telecom design and construction process
• Experience with CAD
• Familiarity with electrical, natural gas, and telecommunications infrastructure
• Must be organized, meticulous, have strong communication skills, be creative and motivated
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
