About The Position
Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional drum instructor to teach part-time in Louisville, KY. This position requires instructors to teach in person, providing a hands-on learning experience for students. Teachers have the flexibility to set their availability within the school's open hours, but consistency is appreciated by both students and staff. Preference will be given to candidates who can offer greater availability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong music background, evidenced by a degree in music performance, music education, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience. A demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians is essential. Additionally, candidates should have a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check. Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $22-28/hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all employees after 90 days on the job.
