Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience (food industry a plus)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • English fluency (written and verbal)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMPs is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Utilize work orders and order appropriate supplies based on lot number and location.
  • Communicate with fork lift drivers to bring supplies to line.
  • Verify that supplies are correct (i.e. totes, drums, labels etc.).
  • Clean containers before filling.
  • Fill containers (drums, totes, pails) to correct amount from work order stated requirements.
  • Ensure proper labeling of product.
  • Change oils and provide samples to Quality Control for verification
  • Transfer oils from one container type to another
  • Maintain accurate paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Keep area safe and clean throughout the shift, clean as you go
  • Train new employees
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
  • All other duties as required and assigned by the supervisor or manager
