Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience (food industry a plus)
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- English fluency (written and verbal)
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMPs is a plus
Responsibilities
- Utilize work orders and order appropriate supplies based on lot number and location.
- Communicate with fork lift drivers to bring supplies to line.
- Verify that supplies are correct (i.e. totes, drums, labels etc.).
- Clean containers before filling.
- Fill containers (drums, totes, pails) to correct amount from work order stated requirements.
- Ensure proper labeling of product.
- Change oils and provide samples to Quality Control for verification
- Transfer oils from one container type to another
- Maintain accurate paperwork in a timely manner.
- Keep area safe and clean throughout the shift, clean as you go
- Train new employees
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
- All other duties as required and assigned by the supervisor or manager
