About The Position

The Drug Screen Technician performs specimen collection, point of care testing, and other clinical duties as ordered by the supervising physician/provider. To included, but not limited to DOT and non-DOT urine drug screens, DOT and non-DOT breath alcohol testing, hair specimen collections, and oral fluid collections. This position strictly adheres to DOT, SAMHSA, CLIA, HIPAA, and internal standards while providing excellent service to donors, clients, and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen collection
• Performs point of care testing
• Performs DOT and non-DOT urine drug screens
• Performs DOT and non-DOT breath alcohol testing
• Performs hair specimen collections
• Performs oral fluid collections
• Adheres to DOT, SAMHSA, CLIA, HIPAA, and internal standards
