About The Position

Health Connect America is seeking a Drug Screen Technician to join their impactful team. Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this role

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring clients’ drug tests are conducted in a respectful, dignified, and confidential manner
  • Ensuring specimens are secured
  • Ensuring documentation is accomplished on time according to instructions and HCA standards
  • Collect and process patient specimens for drug, alcohol and DNA tests
  • Collecting urine specimens from donors at our local collection facility and at customer locations
  • Treat all clients in a caring, courteous and professional manner
  • Observed and unobserved urine collections required
  • Adhere to all relevant state/federal regulations, and company policies & procedures
  • Stay current in the drug & alcohol testing industry through ongoing training
  • Processing instant tests and/or preparing specimens for transport to the laboratory for testing via courier service or overnight delivery
