About The Position

This position is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, and achieving sales and profit goals for the Drug/GM department. The role involves monitoring and controlling quality assurance standards, directing and supervising all functions and activities within the department, and supporting day-to-day operations. It also requires embracing the Customer 1st strategy, encouraging excellent customer service, and demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Smith’s Food and Drug, based in Salt Lake City, Utah, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and serves customers in over 140 stores across multiple states. Responsibilities

  • Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return.
  • Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department.
  • Monitor and control all established quality assurance standards.
  • Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Drug/GM department.
  • Support the day-to-day functions of Drug/GM operations.
  • Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
