About The Position

The Drug Court Analyst/Court Program Specialist III is responsible for performing analysis and quality assurance for Problem Solving Court (PSC) data, providing case management coverage, and assisting in the coordination of Florida Problem-Solving Courts best practices and certification requirements. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with data standards and providing training and support to staff and interns.

Requirements

  • Two years of case management experience, with an emphasis on data collection and quality assurance.
  • Associate degree in legal studies, paralegal, business administration, business management, social work or closely related field, or 60 completed semester credits of relevant undergraduate study.

  • Experience in the field of addiction or mental health, including co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop processes for ensuring departmental compliance with the Florida Problem-Solving Courts Data Manual.
  • Receive and evaluate PSC data elements, record data in electronic tools, analyze and quality check data elements for compliance with best practices and certification requirements.
  • Coordinate with PSC teams and stakeholders regarding Florida Problem-Solving Courts best practices and certification requirements.
  • Provide ongoing training for departmental staff, contractors, and interns.
  • Provide back-up case management coverage for all Problem Solving Court divisions.
  • Serve as liaison for drug court cases with agencies involved in the drug court programs.
  • Administer drug screens to same sex individuals.
  • Request reports from outside organizations and provide updates to the Court and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Communicate with criminal, dependency, and juvenile delinquency case participants, including crisis situations.
  • Prepare reports, maintain spreadsheets, draft correspondence, and perform other administrative tasks.
  • Attend staffings and court hearings to provide support to the presiding judge and perform case management functions.
