About The Position

The Drug Alcohol Technician/HR Representative role at the Choctaw Nation involves a dual function of administering drug and alcohol screenings while also performing various human resources activities. This position is essential for ensuring compliance with drug testing protocols and supporting HR operations to optimize the use of human resources. The role requires on-call availability for after-hours screenings and collaboration with management to maintain high service standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures and ability to operate standard office equipment.
  • Prior experience with a Jupiter Alcohol machine is preferred.
  • Strong telephone skills.
  • Availability to be on call 24/7 during assigned rotation.
  • One year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Administer drug and alcohol screenings for various situations including pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, post-accident, and follow-up.
  • Make schedules for drug and alcohol screenings as required.
  • Notify appropriate authorities upon receiving a pending drug screen.
  • Be on call 24/7 for after-hours post-accident and reasonable suspicion screenings.
  • Respond to information requests from management, outside agencies, and the public.
  • Collaborate with managers to provide a standard of service consistent with administrative expectations.
  • Onboard new hires and process transfers, following established procedures.
  • Prepare and submit reports, review attendance, and follow up on complaints and concerns.
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for payroll and establish personnel files.
  • Perform other assigned responsibilities.
