About The Position

The DRP Specialist at Master Halco, Inc. is responsible for maintaining the parameters for the Branch Item Master table to automate procurement processes. This role involves managing the material plan for assigned regions, collaborating with branches and plants to create distribution orders, and analyzing inventory through customized SQL and Macro-enabled reports. The specialist will also be tasked with extracting and uploading mass data through APIs, conducting monthly forecasts, and reviewing Bill of Materials for accurate costing and demand flow.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Management Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field plus 2 years of experience in supply chain management and business analytics.
• Alternatively, a Master's degree or equivalent in Management Science, Supply Chain Management, or related field with coursework in supply chain management and business analytics.
• Experience in inventory planning and management, forecasting, distribution, and warehousing.
• Familiarity with Bill of Materials and component parts for manufacturing and production.
• Experience in extracting data from servers for inventory analysis.
• Proficiency in Logistic and Manufacturing ERP software.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, developing VBA, and SQL queries.
• Experience with API uploads.

Responsibilities

• Maintain parameters for Branch Item Master table including Bill of Materials, Supplier, Order Multiple, Safety Stock, and Lead Time to automate procurement.
• Manage the material plan for assigned regions, including purchase orders, customer orders, forecasts, consumption, and distribution.
• Collaborate with branches and plants to create distribution orders and plans, and manage excess or aged inventories.
• Analyze inventory using customized SQL and Macro-enabled reports.
• Extract mass data through SQL and upload it via API for parameter, demand, and order maintenance.
• Conduct monthly calculations and uploads of forecasts.
• Perform periodic reviews of BOM for proper costing and demand flow to components.
• Review specific product lines for parameter changes.
