About The Position

The primary function of a Drop Mill Operator is to operate mills and feed rubber into the mill machine from scrap, breakdown, feed and gum cushion. When finished, the product will go on the conveyor belt. This position is crucial in the manufacturing process, ensuring that the rubber is processed correctly and efficiently.

Requirements

• High School diploma and/or general education (GED).
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that performs the essential functions of this position.
• Computer technology experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate mills and feed rubber into the mill machine from scrap, breakdown, feed and gum cushion.
• Monitor slurry and set up embossing wheel.
• Ensure safe operation of a two-roll rubber mill.
