This person will report to the Director of Cage Operations

Requirements

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum (1) year in public area cleaning.
  • Valid PA Drivers License
  • Must be able to be approved and maintain licensure by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board gaming.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Able to perform repetitive motion tasks.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Must have a high level of integrity and reliability.
  • Responsible for opening, removing and securing currency from the gaming machines and table games.
  • Adheres to all Drop/Count policies and procedures.
  • Accurately, gaming machine currency drop and tickets.
  • Operates electronic currency counter/sorter and ticket counter equipment.
  • Records currency from each bill acceptor and table game box on the electronic currency counter.
  • Prepares and bundles the currency drop for verification.
  • Separates gaming tickets and currency from each other.
  • Performs chip count from the table drop
  • Prepares and creates various reports from the various drops and enters the information into the approved computerized system.
  • Informs leads and/or supervisors of any discrepancies during the count or variances.
  • Ensures area is maintained and kept organized.
  • Fully complete drop and count responsibilities daily.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information.
  • Other duties as assigned and authorized by PGCB.
  • Work under pressure and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
  • Maintain fast-paced workflow.
  • Stand for the entirety of shift when not on break.
  • Possess a high level of integrity.
  • Work as a team.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and leadership.
  • Accurately enter information into computer systems and use a printer.
  • Write basic documents. Ability to read and understand basic instructions and memos.
  • Ability to work as a team and follow directions from direct leadership.
  • Use or learn to use a 10 key adding machine.
  • Must be able to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures
  • Ability to understand and work both the Drop and Count aspects of the department
  • Ability to perform assigned job duties under frequent time pressures in a semi-interruptive environment.
