Drone Pilot Part 107 and SFRA DMV
About The Position
Rolling Suds DMV serves commercial properties, HOAs, and residential clients across Northern Virginia and Maryland, working with major REITs and property management firms along a corridor stretching from Germantown MD to Leesburg VA. We're expanding our drone program to support property inspections and aerial documentation across our territory and are building a bench of experienced pilots to call on for project-based work. This isn't a full-time role — when we have a job that requires flying in restricted airspace, we call you. All equipment is provided. You show up and fly. You know the DC airspace. You've navigated the SFRA, you understand the authorization process, and you're not figuring it out on our dime. You're Part 107 certified and comfortable operating in one of the most restricted airspace environments in the country. You've done this before and you can prove it. FRZ authorization is a major plus. If you have it, lead with it — very few pilots do and it opens up work nobody else can touch.
Requirements

- you understand the authorization process
- You're Part 107 certified

Responsibilities
- Pre-flight planning including airspace checks, NOTAMs, and weather assessment
- Operate provided UAV equipment for property inspections and aerial documentation
- Coordinate with our operations team on scheduling and site access
- Maintain accurate flight logs and ensure full FAA regulatory compliance
