About The Position

Driving School Instructor Part-Time Join AAA Driving School as a Part-Time Driver Training Instructor! Make a meaningful impact by helping create safer roads in your community. AAA is hiring part-time Driver Training Instructors to join our dedicated Driving School team. In this role, you’ll teach safe driving techniques to students of all ages and experience levels, foster a positive learning environment, and apply your knowledge of state driving laws with patience and professionalism. Hourly Pay: $16.00/hour Schedule: 20-25 hours/week. Weekdays: Start between 3:15pm-4:30pm, work between 4.00-5.50 hours/shift. Weekends: Minimum one day, starting as early as 7:00am for an 8-hour shift. Paid Licensing & Training Growth & Advancement Opportunities What You’ll Do Deliver behind-the-wheel instruction to students of varying ages and experience levels, following AAA’s curriculum and training standards Use our driving school software to track and manage student progress Assess student performance and provide personalized guidance Stay current on safe and defensive driving practices and maintain all required state documentation What You’ll Bring Experience in driving instruction, education, or the automotive industry Confidence working with the public, especially teens A strong commitment to promoting safe driving habits Flexibility to accommodate student schedules, including weekday afternoons and at least one weekend day Physical ability to sit for extended periods, hear and see in all weather conditions, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and lift up to 25lbs Must be capable of safely assuming control of the vehicle from the passenger seat during instruction or emergency situations Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Minimum of 5 years of driving experience Must obtain state-issued Driving School Instructor license, which includes passing a DMV-required physical exam Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening Auto Club Enterprises is the largest federation of AAA clubs in the nation. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Minimum of 5 years of driving experience
  • Must obtain state-issued Driving School Instructor license, which includes passing a DMV-required physical exam
