About the position
Bay Cities Driving School is seeking motivated individuals to become Driving Instructors, teaching both teens and adults how to drive in the San Francisco Bay Area. This part-time role offers flexible hours, making it suitable for educators, coaches, law enforcement, stay-at-home parents, or retirees. The position is open to both experienced and new instructors, with a focus on providing essential driving skills to students.
Responsibilities
- Teach driving skills to teens and adults.
- Provide instruction in a company car during driving lessons.
- Ensure students understand road safety and driving regulations.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws.
Requirements
- At least 25 years old.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid CA driver license with a clean driving record.
- Strong people skills and interest in working with teens.
- Smartphone (iOS or Android) for communication.
Nice-to-haves
- Spanish speaking ability is preferred.
- Previous experience as a driving instructor is a plus.
