About The Position

This position offers a great opportunity for retirees and is available for full-time, part-time, and per-diem roles. The job involves being a Driver for an Adult Day Center, specifically as a Shuttle Driver for special needs individuals. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Minimum three (3) years with a valid driver's license as well as state/vehicle-specific driver credentials.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver assistive devices or wheelchairs.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Prior experience working with seniors and/or adults with special needs is helpful.
• Must be able to pass a required physical exam including a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
• Must receive successful results of a background check and Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Must receive clear pre-employment drug test results.

Responsibilities

• Ensure members are transported safely whenever they are in your care.
• Assist members with on- and off-boarding and with any special needs during transport.
• Ensure the company vehicle is 'member-ready' at all times: sparkling clean and free from obstacles as well as in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
