About The Position

The Driver position at DSV is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of inbound and outbound shipments to customer locations using company vehicles. The role requires operating commercial motor vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Range of over 10,000 lb and up to 26,000 lb within a 150 air-mile radius of a DB Schenker facility. The position is full-time and involves various physical tasks associated with freight handling.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass any federal/state/local government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Generally, prefer 2-4 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Verify shipment-bills for required information and load freight onto trucks
• Unload freight from trucks and weigh/check dimensions compared to shipper’s calculations
• Sort outbound freight between overnight and second-day and load ULD and trucks
• Deliver freight to customer location using company vehicles
• Recover freight from customer location using company vehicles
