About the position

The Driver position at Atria Senior Living involves providing safe and timely transportation for residents to various destinations, including outings and medical appointments. The role requires maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle and ensuring compliance with all driving regulations. The Driver will also be responsible for scheduling and communicating with the management team regarding any changes or unforeseen circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for residents to outings and medical appointments in a timely manner.
• Drive the bus or other vehicles safely to and from required destinations.
• Schedule destinations of the bus or other vehicles as directed by the Management Team.
• Be accessible to the management team during working hours via cell phone or pager for schedule changes.
• Ensure the bus and/or other vehicles are clean.
• Complete and submit paperwork related to job duties as required by operations procedures.
• May be assigned to other job functions in the community when not driving or on a relief basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a good driving record; may require a CDL license and must provide a copy of the motor vehicle driving record prior to employment.
• Ability to drive the bus or other vehicles, meeting all federal and state driving regulations and requirements.
• Ability to operate the bus or other vehicles in a safe manner at all times.
• Ability to maintain the bus or other vehicles.
