About the position

The role involves loading and unloading bulk, drummed, or bagged material, as well as managing LTL interplant trailer movement and branch transfers. The employee is expected to follow all operating procedures and work instructions, perform all duties in a safe manner, and adhere to all rules and regulations. Additionally, the role requires completing all necessary training as part of the Regulatory/Compliance Training Program. Proper use of materials such as labels, placards, stenciling, and paint is essential, along with the care and use of equipment like forklifts, drum handling equipment, pumps, and hoses. A dual sign-off is required before transferring any product from one vessel to another.

Responsibilities

  • Loading and/or unloading of bulk, drummed, or bagged material
  • LTL Interplant Trailer Movement & Branch Transfers
  • Follow all operating procedures, and work instructions
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner and follow all rules and regulations
  • Complete all training as required in the Regulatory/Compliance Training Program
  • Properly use materials such as labels, placards, stenciling and paint
  • Properly care for and use all equipment such as forklifts, drum handling equipment, pumps, hoses, etc.
  • Secure dual sign off before transferring any product from one vessel to another

Requirements

  • Driving Hazmat, Tanker, LTL, or Bulk loads in the local area
  • Ability to load and unload Hazardous Material
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements Required
  • Current Class A CDL with a Medical Card Required
  • A minimum of 1 year Liquid Bulk Hauling Experience (recommended)
  • A minimum of 3 years truck driving experience (recommended)
  • Comfortable with the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse duties
  • Knowledge of DOT load securement regulations
  • Clean driving record
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certification from Accredited Commercial Driving Academy (not required)
