About The Position

Location : Canton, MA area Hours/week: Casual/On-Call Exemption: Non-exempt Pay Range : $15.00 - $20.00 per hour starting pay varies depending on experience and qualifications Drive, load and unload box truck for all MA Divisional Events per Divisional Calendar

Requirements

• High school or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience as a professional driver (e.g., commercial, delivery, personal chauffeur, etc.)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to drive rental box truck safely at any time
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Willingness to work irregular hours
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs
• Must understand and appreciate the Mission of The Salvation Army

Responsibilities

• Pick up truck at rental location.
• Load equipment/supplies into box truck
• Drive box truck to event location.
• Unload truck and assist with setup as needed.
• Return truck to rental location.
• Remain up to date with Keep SAfe Trainings
• Perform other related duties as assigned
