About The Position

Drivers assist in transport of purchased equipment, parts, or other items to associated customers or delivery locations in a safe and efficient manner. This may also include store to store transportation across any of the Capital Tractor locations.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to drive safely.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure delivery is carried out efficiently.
• Operating motor vehicles.
• Prolonged periods of sitting in a motor vehicle.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
• Safely transport, deliver, and pick up equipment.
• Assist in yard maintenance (mow grass, wash equipment, stack wood pallets, etc).
• Keep watch on trucks and trailers.
• Notify management of maintenance needs.
• Daily pre-check on all hauling equipment
• Maintain clean driving and drug records.
