About The Position

Position Summary: Drivers are expected to follow and execute predetermined routes to move material between facility buildings and local suppliers. While a class A license is not required for drivers, a clean driving record is required of all drivers. Drivers will demonstrate an ability to perform a daily vehicle inspection, read shippers and verify that their load is aligned with the records in hand. They must also be able to operate a forklift and have the ability to safely load and unload material onto their truck as well as perform a thorough visual inspection verifying that there is no identifiable part defects or damage. Typically 1-2 years of experience. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Pick-up and deliver various items and products Loading and unloading of goods Accurate checking of orders Management of on-time delivery Arrange timely shipping of product Maintenance of up-to-date shipping and receiving information in the network Timely packaging/unpacking of product for safe delivery to customer or processing Adhere to all company policies Other duties as assigned 35lbs lifting Drivers are expected to maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area by following all safety standards, expectations, and quality practices. Requirements

• Warehouse/Manufacturing Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and verbally communicate documents effectively.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Reasoning Ability: Able to apply reasoning skills and understanding to carry out instructions presented in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks with urgency and sound business judgment.
• Regulatory & Instruction Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret job-related instructions and legal knowledge requirements.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with internal teams, suppliers, shipping agents, couriers, and occasionally government officials.
• Computer Skills: Proficient with computers and software, including Microsoft Excel; data processing skills are valued.
• Forklift Certification: Must possess valid forklift certification.
• Forklift Operation: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Route Navigation: Experience navigating delivery routes efficiently and safely.
• Education Requirement: High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• DOT Certification (Preferred): DOT certification is a plus and may support transportation-related duties.
• Preferred Training: Certificate from a technical school or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
