About The Position

Friendship Village Tempe is looking for a friendly, reliable Driver to safely transport our residents to outings and appointments!

Requirements

• Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (class B CDL or higher) with passenger endorsement.
• Must possess and maintain a current Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• At least one (1) year of CDL passenger driving experience - preferred driving experience for a senior living environment, but not required.
• Experience operating a Braun or similar lift and securing regular and mechanical wheelchairs and scooters preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely and safe transporting of residents to various activities outside the community.
• Responsible for routine maintenance and cleaning of the community vehicle.
• Responsible for providing transportation for residents and non-residents from apartments or health center to and from appointment.
• Conducting on-campus tram transportation, as needed.
