Requirements

  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record (required)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for resident support
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Flexible schedule availability, including occasional weekends or holidays

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience in healthcare, transportation, or working with older adults is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community events
  • Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, including those with mobility challenges
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety, and routine maintenance of the vehicle
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance concerns
  • Maintain accurate mileage and trip logs
  • Create a warm, friendly environment during every ride
