Requirements
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record (required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for resident support
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexible schedule availability, including occasional weekends or holidays
Nice To Haves
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in healthcare, transportation, or working with older adults is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community events
- Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles, including those with mobility challenges
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and routine maintenance of the vehicle
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance concerns
- Maintain accurate mileage and trip logs
- Create a warm, friendly environment during every ride
