About The Position
White Horse Village (WHV), a prestigious retirement community located in Newtown Square, PA is seeking to add full-time drivers to our team! WHV offers housing and healthcare services for older adults, and is a community that lives out its mission to intentionally create opportunities for extraordinary living in a vibrant, diverse community through personal growth, connectedness and relationships. WHV seeks team members committed to quality service who are looking to make a difference in our residents’ lives. This opportunity is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with older adults, and are interested in having a flexible and/or part-time schedule.
Requirements
- CDL (Class B)
- A demonstrated commitment to safety
- Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- At least 1 year of driving passengers
- Valid driver’s license in PA
- Clean driving record
- All WHV team members must have an annual flu vaccine
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with older adults preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Driving residents to medical appointments/trips/community outings
- Assist in maintaining vehicles
- Assist with the Preventative Maintenance Program on vehicles.
- Comply with all OSHA and CDC regulations
- Assist residents with packages, assistive devices such as canes/walkers as needed
- Other duties as required
