About The Position

Drivers pick up and deliver vehicles between our customer’s locations and the Dealerships for service and repair. They perform quality control test drives and complaint verification test drives. Requirements

  • Two (2) plus years driving experience
  • Current Commercial driver license A in good standing
  • Must have Department of Transportation medical card and medical release
  • Willing to submit and pass Department of Transportation’s random drug testing
  • Must have knowledge and willing to comply with traffic laws

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all quality/control test drives
  • Defines and carries out appropriate test drives to confirm compliance with quality standards
  • Documents test results
  • Completes road tests performance sheets
  • Performs complaint verification test drives
  • Arranges lots as needed for better presentation
  • Fills service trucks with diesel
  • Coordinates steam cleaning of trucks
  • Performs errands as needed (i.e., pick up parts from other locations)
  • Drops off oil samples at Caterpillar
  • Maintains record of all daily activities on daily log
  • Performs additional job-related duties as needed
  • Covers for lot porter as needed
  • Follows Department of Transportation’s safety standards
