About The Position

Canyon Springs Post Acute is seeking a dependable Driver to ensure our residents receive safe and professional transportation. PACS is revolutionizing the delivery and leadership of post-acute healthcare and support services across the country. Requirements

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
  • Familiarity with GPS technology and local San Jose driving routes.
  • Ability to lift and mobilize up to 70 pounds in confined vehicle spaces.
  • Must be flexible with scheduling to accommodate late-running appointments.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe transport of residents to medical appointments, community outings, and approved activities.
  • Assist residents with loading and unloading from facility vehicles using safe, clinical-based transfer techniques.
  • Maintain the interior and exterior of facility vehicles.
  • Monitor maintenance logs and coordinate routine services such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Properly secure wheelchair-bound residents and demonstrate proficiency in ingress/egress procedures.
