About The Position

The Driver role at Brenntag involves the loading and/or unloading of bulk, drummed, or bagged material, as well as LTL Interplant Trailer Movement & Branch Transfers. The position requires adherence to all operating procedures, work instructions, and safety regulations, along with completing required regulatory/compliance training. Drivers are responsible for the proper care and use of assigned equipment and must secure dual sign-off before transferring any product. Requirements

  • Driving Hazmat, Tanker, LTL, or Bulk loads in the local area
  • Ability to load and unload Hazardous Material
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
  • Current Class A CDL with a Medical Card
  • A minimum of 1 year Liquid Bulk Hauling Experience
  • A minimum of 3 years truck driving experience
  • Comfortable with the use of a Forklift, and general warehouse duties
  • Knowledge of DOT load securement regulations
  • Clean driving record
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Loading and/or unloading of bulk, drummed or bagged material
  • LTL Interplant Trailer Movement & Branch Transfers
  • Follow all operating procedures and work instructions
  • Performs all duties in a safe manner and follow all rules and regulations
  • Completes all training a required in the Regulatory/Compliance Training Program
  • Properly cares for and uses all assigned equipment
  • Secure duel sign off before transferring and product from one vessel to another
