About The Position

With 15 distribution centers strategically located throughout the nation, HF Foods Group aims to supply the increasing demand for Asian American restaurant cuisine. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: The driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. A reliable driver needs to transport items in a safe, timely manner, in conjunction with the customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Extensive commercial driving experience with clean driving record
  • Special licenses may be required to operate certain vehicles
  • Good eyesight and hearing
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws
  • Strong time management and customer service skills
  • Ability to walk, drive, lift, and carry heavy items for extended periods
  • Attention to detail
  • Must have a visual or visual intellectual acuity of 20/40, with or without corrective visual aids.
  • Visual, intellectual acuity of 40/20, regardless of corrective visual aids
  • 70 degrees or more vision in each eye
  • Being able to hear a forced whisper within 5 feet without any corrective hearing aid
  • Passing the compulsory audiometer assessment
  • Not having a history of high or low blood pressure. The average rate should be 90/140
  • Able to perform repeated, manual heavy lifting of items up to 80 pounds
  • Able to deliver products in inclement weather conditions
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license issued by the state where you intend to work.

Responsibilities

  • Loading, transporting, delivering and unloading items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles
  • Collecting payments for delivered items as needed
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
  • Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries
  • Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
  • Any other related duties as assigned by the management
