About The Position
Pacific Coast Trane is currently looking for a team player to fill the position of Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of parts and all job-related supplies and equipment to pre-determined jobsites on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks and providing exceptional support to our Field Technicians. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Requirements
- Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Delivery Driver
- Clean driving record
- Good customer service skills and must possess a positive and professional attitude
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
- Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications
- Deliver orders to job sites on assigned routes
- Maintain ongoing communication with Dispatcher and Technicians
- Unload goods as per job specifications
- Review deliveries with Technicians to ensure parts are correct and tools are in good working order
- Obtain delivery confirmations
- Return to the office at the end of the day, submit paperwork, if any. Clean-up truck make sure it’s in adequate level for next day’s deliveries.
