Town & Country Event Rentals is hiring Class A, B, and C Drivers/Installers to safely deliver, pick up, and install event rental equipment across the Greater Los Angeles area. This hands-on role includes operating company trucks, leading a small crew, loading/unloading and installing equipment, maintaining the route schedule, and providing excellent customer service. Applicants must hold the appropriate driver’s license for their class and have experience operating box trucks. ---------------------------------------- We are hiring for: Class A Drivers/Installers: Operate the largest box trucks and smaller box trucks. Requires Class A CDL and at least 2 years of experience driving heavy-duty vehicles. Class B Drivers/Installers: Operate medium-duty and smaller box trucks. Requires Class B CDL and at least 2 years of professional driving experience with box trucks. Class C Drivers/Installers: Operate medium-duty and smaller box trucks. Requires a Class C or non-commercial driver’s license and at least 1 year of professional driving experience with box trucks. ---------------------------------------- Duties & Responsibilities Driving & Vehicle Operations Operate company vehicles safely and responsibly, following all local, state, and federal traffic laws. Verify routes, assignments, and special instructions with Dispatch before departure; report delays immediately. Deliver and pick up event equipment on time, ensuring proper securing of items to prevent shifting or damage. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and organization, report shortages or safety concerns to Dispatch. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks; maintain accurate records of mileage, truck weight, and complete daily logs (HOS/DVIR). Submit route paperwork to Dispatch upon returning to the warehouse. Installation & Event Inventory Load, unload, and safely handle rental equipment for delivery and on-site installation. Lead a small crew to safely and efficiently install and/or pick up inventory at each job site. Follow company and OSHA guidelines for safely loading, unloading, transporting, and handling inventory. Verify and log inventory counts against order paperwork, report shortages, overages, or equipment damage to Dispatch. Install and break down tents, staging, and other event infrastructure as needed. Properly document and report workplace injuries, auto accidents, or property damage. Follow all DOT compliance requirements, including pre-employment physicals, drug screenings, and maintaining a clean driving record (MVR review required). Professionalism & Customer Service Demonstrate a positive attitude and respect toward clients, vendors, and coworkers. Provide excellent customer service through professional communication and prompt resolution of client needs. Support other drivers and crew members as needed to ensure overall company success. Foster positive relationships with Event Directors, Production Managers, and Event Sales Associates. ---------------------------------------- Qualifications & Requirements Class A: Class A CDL; 2+ years driving heavy box trucks or heavy-duty vehicles. Class B: Class B CDL; 2+ years driving box trucks. Class C: Class C or non-commercial driver’s license; 1+ year driving box trucks. Previous experience driving box trucks is required. Proficient in GPS navigation and following written or verbal directions. Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and work long hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, or overtime. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Department of Transportation (DOT) Compliance Requirements DMV Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) review is required; acceptance by our insurance carrier is required to be employed as a driver. Pre-employment physical. Pre-employment drug screen (when applicable). Random drug screening. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Frequent driving with exposure to varying weather conditions; occasional work in a warehouse or event site environment.
