About The Position

Our Class A Drivers are responsible for promptly and safely delivering and picking up tools and large equipment to and from customers; providing excellent customer service; assisting in tool maintenance and instruction and other job-related tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Class A California Drivers License
• Clean DMV record, less than 2 points, no moving violations or accidents in the past 2 years, no DUI's in 3 years
• Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must have common working knowledge of DOT regulations
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 50 pounds unassisted; a high level of safety awareness
• Ability to read maps and find delivery sites in remote locations; requires skill in driving rural roads and making deliveries to remote construction sites
• Ability to work effectively with others and to obtain customer satisfaction
• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
• Flexible schedule, able to work weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the use and maintenance of construction and landscaping equipment
• Mechanically inclined
