About The Position
Touchmark on West Prospect is Appleton’s leading full-service senior living community, dedicated to enriching the lives of residents through exceptional service, hospitality, and care. We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Driver to provide transportation for residents to appointments, shopping, and community outings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping older adults remain active and connected while providing safe, friendly transportation. Requirements
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire)
- Clean driving record meeting company screening requirements
- Ability to drive defensively and provide safe, courteous transportation
- Compassionate, patient, and service-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently and interact positively with residents and team members
Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, and community outings
- Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle and provide support with walkers or mobility aids
- Ensure passengers follow safety procedures, including seat belt use
- Maintain vehicles by checking fuel levels, cleanliness, and basic maintenance needs
- Communicate transportation schedules and coordinate trips efficiently
- Report any incidents or vehicle concerns promptly
- Support resident events or activities when needed
