Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Valid Ohio Driver’s License
Must meet eligibility under LEC’s insurance provider (Motor Vehicle Report required)
Minimum 3 years of relevant driving experience, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting
Ability to regularly push/pull wheelchairs exceeding 100 lbs
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

Provide safe and timely transportation to residents for appointments and events
Ensure residents’ comfort and safety during transit
Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle, including wheelchair assistance
Maintain cleanliness and safety checks on assigned vehicle
Communicate effectively with residents and staff about schedules and updates
