About The Position

We promote safety and will train you on all the safety items needed for the job in which you will use our fleet of vehicles (Trucks, vans, passenger busses). When not driving you will keep your hands busy with some general maintenance duties such as mail and package deliveries, setting up tables and chairs for events, and other duties as assigned. Working hours: Day Shift (7am to 4pm) and some weekends and holidays. At Friendship Village, we dedicated to the providing exceptional customer service to our residents. Our driver's play a crucial role by providing timely, safe, and comfortable transportation to and from outings, while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Requirements

Must have a class D drivers license with endorsement 3 or a Commercial driver's license with passenger endorsement required
Must have flexible hours
Clean driving record
Occasional weekend availability
Applicants subject to pre-employment screening and testing which may include: background, drug test, physical.
Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, Flu vaccinated and TB test.

Responsibilities

Driving residents to appointments, shopping trips, dining venues, and a variety of events and activities.
General maintenance duties such as mail and package deliveries
