Your success is what's next with Custom Truck One Source. SUMMARY Primary responsibility is to drive a heavy truck in excess capacity of more than three (3) tons; Majority of driving will be local. Full-time position Monday-Thursday.

Requirements

This position requires a CDL Class B license and clean driving record to remain insurable.
A minimum of three years Class B CDL driving experience.
High skill level driving heavy trucks. Highly detail oriented and organized in work. Acceptable written and oral communication skills. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with a customer service focus with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results. Must have initiative and the ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives. Must possess a strong desire to learn

Responsibilities

Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water.
Drives truck for testing purposes.
Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive instructions.
Must have a working knowledge and understanding of safety requirements and practice them.
When assigned, will open a work order so time may be charged out to assigning department.
Reports accidents to Safety and HR immediately, obtaining names, license numbers and other details.
Must work with and for all departments in harmony.
