About The Position
Drivers are to maintain vehicles in good condition and inspect them regularly. Drivers are also responsible for the transporting of residents and staff to and from scheduled appointments and outings.
Requirements
- Must have clean DMV and Class B licenses with passenger endorsement.
- If the bus has air brakes, the driver must have proper endorsement as well.
- Must maintain safe driving record.
- The driver must be able to communicate well with residents in assisted, independent and journey care, families, and staff in a caring demeanor and handle each situation with sensitivity and compassion for the elderly.
- Must be flexible, punctual, dependable and have ability to comply with a sometimes-heavy transportation schedule.
- Must be enrolled in DOT random substance and alcohol testing.
