About The Position

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: · Prepares truck for operation by inspecting general condition and maintaining daily vehicle inspection report including checking fluid levels and tire pressure; obtaining or scheduling required repairs; validating adherence to road ability standards. · Loads truck by ordering, placing, and securing items. · Delivers items by identifying destinations; operating the truck; unloading items; maintaining schedule. · Serves customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints. · Work safely to prevent on the job injuries by always following safety rules and regulations including proper wearing of company PPE. · Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations; cleans truck exterior and interior. · Drive trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes to document weights and to comply with state regulations ensuring vehicle is properly loaded and load secured, and product is delivered safely and timely Must be able to work a flexible schedule Monday through Friday, which may include some overtime, weekends, and holidays Requirements Job Qualifications include: · A safe previous driving record. · Must have a class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for the state in which the position works. · Two years roll-off experience & flatbed. · Must be able to lift 50 lbs. · Ability to meet D.O.T. medical and drug testing requirements. · Good verbal communication skills. · Create and maintain written records and service responses.
