Role: As a Driver, you’ll offer companionship, assist with daily activities, and provide transportation for elderly clients. Your presence helps combat loneliness and improve their quality of life.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and valid auto insurance
Vehicle should be able to accommodate for foldable wheelchairs and/or walkers
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Able to assist clients into and out of vehicles.
Reliable communication and promptness through EVV system and/or SMS texting.
Strong interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Caregiver experience preferred
Experience with elderly preferred
Creative and collaborative in identifying additional activities or support clients may need, including companionship and daily assistance.

Responsibilities

Companionship and monitoring client well-being
Provide clients with mobility assistance
Assist clients with restroom needs during transportation, ensuring safety, privacy, and dignity
Required to know medical and dietary needs of clients
Transportation for excursions
Motivate and encourage your client to experience new adventures and participate in wellness activities
Clock in/out and process documents related to client visit
Possible assistance of multiple clients at once
