Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of driver services experience
  • Must be reliable and dependable
  • Organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work

Responsibilities

  • Deliver supplies and medication to patient's/nursing homes
  • Maintain appropriate documentation (i.e. delivery tickets)
  • Pick up, clean and calibrate equipment as required
  • Perform small maintenance on vehicle
  • Maintain vehicle mileage/vehicle check log and service schedule
  • Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policy
  • Properly exchange Emergency Kits (E-Kits) at facilities.
  • Maintain custody of controlled medications until delivery and return delivery documentation as required.
  • Ensure communication with delivery supervisors for additional assignments prior to ending the shift.
  • Able and willing to drive in various weather conditions
  • Maintain a clean work environment (i.e. leave the delivery vehicle interior clean).
  • Become familiar with all delivery routes, entire delivery area, and be able to efficiently adjust the route for weather conditions and construction.
  • Report delivery vehicle concerns to Driver Services Supervisor for correction.
