About The Position
Allegro Parkland is hiring a Part-Time Driver to support resident transportation in our senior living community in Parkland, FL. The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation services for the residents of the Community.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License required
- Clean driving record
- Experience working with seniors preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable, safe, and service-oriented
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Must possess good judgment, time management, decision making, and safety awareness skills.
- Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license (Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) if required) for the state where the vehicle is operated.
- Must have an acceptable Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) record; the record must be checked annually.
- The Community is a drug free workplace.
Responsibilities
- Drive residents to outings, health care appointments, banking and other activities as determined by the Lifestyle Director/Concierge and the Executive Director.
- Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle.
- Assist in loading packages, boxes, sacks, etc.
- Coordinate Community transportation services ensuring the maintenance of the vehicles and adherence to the transportation budget and expenditures as directed.
