About The Position

The Transportation Driver is essential in providing safe, timely transportation for PACE participants, including meals, medical equipment, and pharmacy items. This role ensures the overall cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle while effectively communicating any safety concerns. Mercy LIFE Chester County, a part of Trinity Health PACE, provides high-quality care to seniors in the communities we serve. Our interdisciplinary team offers comprehensive services, allowing seniors to remain independent at home. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license in good standing required.
• One (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population or must receive appropriate training from upon hiring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent conflict management, customer service, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to change and be flexible with work priorities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic email/calendar systems.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport participants to medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations.
• Aid participants during boarding and disembarking.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to adapt to schedule changes.
• Promote a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants.
