Our team is looking for compassionate, caring and considerate companions to become angels for San Diego's residents and participants in the best years of their lives! This is a part-time position with available schedules between Monday and Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Job Summary: Responsible for the safe and timely transportation of St. Paul’s PACE participants. Including transport of participants, meals, durable medical equipment, pharmacy, and any other transportation as deemed necessary. Responsible for overall cleanliness and safety of the vehicle assigned on a daily basis. Responsible for communicating any safety issue to the Transportation Supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid California Drivers License - Class B.
  • Be capable of and experienced in transporting individuals with special mobility needs required.
  • Shall have either training or related in the job assigned.
  • Able to read and understand maps and routing information to navigate with in the San Diego area.
  • Knowledge of safety requirements pertaining to the transportation industry.
  • Requires individual who can coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with participants, caregivers, and co-workers
  • Proficient in identifying and recommending problem resolution.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • YOU MUST BE ABLE TO CLEAR FINGERPRINTS THROUGH DOJ AND FBI IN ADDITION TO A DRUG SCREEN CLEARANCE.

Responsibilities
