Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience driving a vehicle 20 or more feet long is required.
• Experience in providing customer service is preferred.
• Ability to drive vans, buses and medium-duty trucks in congested and narrow city streets.
• Good customer service, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• May require ability to use hand trucks, large carts, pallet jacks and other freight-handling equipment.
• May require simple data entry and ten-key, basic alphabetizing and balancing of daily cash register receipts.
• Current driver’s license required.
• Current applicable state Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsement, current DOT medical card with appropriate endorsement, and a driving record that meets Legacy’s Employee Driver Policy (LH.100.66) required.

Responsibilities

• Transports passengers, materials, supplies, equipment, mail, legal documents or other freight as needed, to and from vendors, among various Legacy operating units, and/or to other service sites using Legacy-owned vehicles.
• Acts as a representative of Legacy Health by establishing excellent relations with all clients.
