About The Position

Job Details Job Location: Downtown Medical Respite Center - Phoenix, AZ 85007 Essential Duties: Responsibilities 1. Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of patients. 2. Transports patients according to schedule, staying within allotted times. 3. Assists patients in and out of the vehicle. 4. Interacts with patients in a warm, professional manner, maintaining positive relationships with patients. 5. Notifies the Administrative Assistant of any potential mechanical problems or needed repairs. 6. Maintains an open line of communication with the Administrative Assistant regarding needed transportation. 7. Maintains a clean driving record. 8. Responsible for insuring that all required emergency equipment (i.e., triangles, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit) are available and in good working order. 9. Keep vehicle logs accurately and completely. 10. Insure that the vehicles gas, oil and other fluids are kept at appropriate levels. Other responsibilities/accountabilities: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted or changed to meet the facility’s needs, at the discretion of the Administrative Qualifications

Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • Computer skills: MS Office Suite
  • Able to work with minimal supervision successfully
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must have a current Arizona driver’s license
  • Must have been licensed for 3 years
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years old
  • Must meet Circle the City insurer’s requirements for safe past driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • CPR Certification
