About The Position

Responsible for safely transporting clients to and from scheduled destinations, including the airport, appointments, meetings, and program activities. This role provides supportive oversight during transport, assists with basic client needs, and communicates relevant observations to program staff.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Illinois driver’s license and acceptable driving record..
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports clients to and from approved destinations in accordance with company policies and traffic laws.
• Maintains appropriate boundaries and supportive communication with clients during transport.
• Observes and reports changes in client mood, behavior, or physical condition to the Operations Supervisor or on-duty staff.
• Conducts pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety checks.
• Reports vehicle maintenance needs, safety issues, or incidents promptly.
• Maintains knowledge of program policies, HIPAA requirements, and client confidentiality expectations.
