About The Position
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The follow duties for the position listed shall include but not be limited to) Ensure safe and proper use of trucks for picking up and delivery of units. Ensure safe and proper securing of units on truck preventing damage. Up keep and maintaining of all company trucks. Assist Sales in down time with any need assistance for cleaning, moving or any other assistance needed in sales department. Turn in Checklist before leaving. Abide by and enforce all dealership policies pertaining to the department. Follow company dress codes and be well groomed at all times. Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole. Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees. NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Prefer some computer literacy Prefer interest or experience in motor sports industry. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions present at that time. Work performed in a shop setting, as well as exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes, chemicals and adhesives. Required to lift up to a minimum of 50 lbs. Regularly required to move, push, pull, operate (for loading purposes) units. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, kneel, reach, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools or controls. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. Required vision include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times.
Requirements
- Current Class A driver's license
- Above average driving record
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of vehicle inspections, safety procedures, and basic maintenance
- Ability to safely operate tractor-trailers in various road and weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Exceptional communication skills
