About The Position

The primary purpose of the Driver position is to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of passengers or goods to designated locations. The Driver will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition, adhering to all traffic laws, and providing exceptional customer service to passengers or clients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.
  • Proven track record of safe and efficient driving.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent navigational skills and ability to read maps or GPS systems.
  • Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to schedules.
  • Physical stamina to handle long hours of driving and loading/unloading tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Transport passengers or goods safely to their destinations while following assigned routes and schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle's interior and exterior.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of passengers and goods at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, clients, and dispatch to provide updates on travel status and address any concerns.
  • Manage time efficiently to ensure punctuality and adherence to schedules.
  • Assist passengers with boarding and unloading, including handling luggage or packages as necessary.
  • Report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly to management for resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and any other required documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, professional, and attentive to the needs of passengers or clients.
