About The Position

The Driver is responsible for transportation of residents to activities, medical appointments and other off campus events as directed by the administration of the facility. The Driver is responsible for ensuring the safety of the residents and operating in a safe manner at all times.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform and complete each essential duty satisfactorily, have excellent communication and language skills which enables them to successfully perform and complete their duties and interact effectively with residents, guests, family members and fellow staff members.
Employee must meet all specific state and federal regulations for assuming the position of Driver at an assisted living facility.
The following certifications, training and diplomas are required: high school diploma or GED.
Employee must have and maintain a valid driver’s license; and may be required to maintain a Chauffeur’s classification according to the vehicle being utilized.
A safe driving record is required.
